Human Remains Found in a Brush Pile at a Cemetery in Bradford Co.

Bradford County deputies following a tip in a seven-year-old cold case discovered on Monday the skeletal remains of a woman believed to be in her early 20s while searching a small, rural Bradford County cemetery.

Working on leads from a 7 year old missing person cold case, Detective Sergeants Kevin Mueller and Brian Davis went to Mt. Sinai Cemetery located off of SW 120th Ave. in Graham, FL.  While searching the area they looked into a pile of brush and saw a human skull.

Forensic experts from the Florida Department of Law Enforcement recovered the remains Tuesday. No details were released on the state of the remains or whether a cause of death could be determined.

Investigators do not believe the remains are of Bradford County resident Sandra Gann, who was reported missing in January 2004. Gann, 48 when she disappeared, was reported missing by her daughter. Gann's husband, Dwayne Edward Gann, has said someone he didn't see picked up his wife for work on the morning of Jan. 5, 2004.
