Longtime Death Row Inmate Faces Execution This Evening

STARKE (by Alan McBride/FLA. NEWS NETWORK) -- Pending any last minute appeals, the state is set to put John Henry to death Wednesday evening.
Henry got the death sentence for killing his estranged wife and her son in December 1985.
According to case records, Henry went to the home of his estranged wife Suzanne. The two began arguing, and Henry stabbed her repeatedly with a kitchen knife.
According to prosecutors, Henry then took the woman's 5-year-old son to an isolated area in Hillsborough County and stabbed the boy in the throat.
Henry is being executed for killing his estranged wife ... though he also got a death sentence for killing the boy.
Henry had earlier been convicted of killing his first wife. He had been out of prison for three years when he killed Suzanne Henry and her boy.
