(WASHINGTON) -- Mitt Romney’s presidential dreams were dashed months ago but the echo of his campaign is still sounding thousands of miles away -- in Kenya.
In President Obama’s ancestral homeland, Romney-Ryan t-shirts are going fast, thanks to a charity with connections to the former Republican presidential candidate.
The Orbit Village Project is run from Tennessee by Cindy Waters. Her nephew, Alexander, was the Romney campaign director for Knox County. When he mentioned to his aunt that he had hundreds of tees going into storage, she told him to hold off, and by the Fourth of July at least 200 kids in need had new shirts on their backs.
