TAVARES, FLA. (by Alan McBride/FLORIDA NEWS NETWORK) -- The Fish and Wildlife Conservation Commission is accepting applications for contracted nuisance alligator trappers in south Lake County.
If you think you have what it takes, the officials would like to hear from you.
It's not the sort of job you can just pick up, however, there are qualifications required by way of ensuring you can handle the work.
FWC officials say applicants also must reside in Lake County; have a valid, working email address; a clean criminal history; and no fish-and-wildlife law violations.
Preference will be given to applicants who live south of the Florida Turnpike. That's because wildlife officials want someone who'll be quick to respond when called for some work.
All applications must be received by Monday, April 22; so, if you're interested, don't dawdle.
